Hi everyone!

Thanks to my dear, geeky brother, Colton, I have now joined the wonderful world of blogging!  Hooray!  Colton's rationale is based on my journal writing.  I type my journal because I usually have so many details that I want to talk about that it would take me ten years to handwrite them all, especially because I'm a slow handwriter.  I usually write once a week on Sundays and tell about my entire week, and my journal entries are on average about 5 single-spaced pages long.  Colton seems to think that, because I'm such a prolific journal writer, people might actually want to read a blog in which I included snippets from my journal.  "Arielle's daily life."  Hm...Well, I've been debating whether I wanted to do a blog for some time now, so why not?  I guess I'll just start off by telling you a bit about myself.

My name is Arielle.  My blog title is a play off my name.  When I was younger, my nickname was Arielly Belly Button.  At one point, when I was trying to come up with the title for a school project, my dad suggested "Right on the Elly Button," as a play on my nickname.  The project I was titling was a little more professional than that, so I chose not to use that title, but it stuck with me, so I decided to use it as the title for my blog.  Colton likes it, so we'll see if it sticks.  :)  Anyway, I am a student at BYU studying Communication Disorders.  I just finished my sixth semester (I graduate in April of 2012; one year to go!) and am currently taking the summer off.  I'm working at a day care in Murray, the same day care where I worked last summer.  I work with the three-year-olds and love them to death!  I'm sure anyone who is interested in learning more about me and my daily life will be able to do so by reading future posts, so I'll close for now.  Hope you enjoy hearing more from "Relly Belly Button!"

  1. So fun, I'll be checking in from time to time! My nick name was Janelly Belly Button, so we have that in common! I love it! Can't wait to read more! I just love your upbeat outlook on life! You and your family inspire me! :)
